Reconcile Inventory Improvements

Currently when you use the “Reconcile Inventory” feature, you scan each IMEI number in a separate line item, once you are finished, you click “Proceed” it then shows you a list of all the items that the count wants to remove from your Inventory.

“will be deleted from your inventory . You can restore these items if needed within the deleted tab.”

Suggested Improvements:

• After you are finished scanning and click Proceed, there are only 2 options, Confirm and Cancel, introduce a “go back” button that would let you amend entries.

• Draft mode. Allow users to start a count, and pause to return later.

• Audit Control vs Removal. Offer a exportable spreadsheet to show the missing entries, this would allow teams to track down the missing devices and account for why they were not scanned why draft mode would be useful

• Submit for approval to delete. Rather than having the devices instantly removed, send a notification to a Owner or Admin and request permission to remove items.

• When devices are going to be removed, require a note on why they are being removed.

• Loss Report - When inventory is removed because it was Missing, show a Loss Report for the “Cost of Items” to show shrinkage/theft/error.

• Plug Inventory Reconcile Logs into the Item Change Log to show successful counts : Examples: Device Counted on 1/1/25
