Improve the export process so it downloads locally instead of being delivered via email.

Currently, the export feature is unreliable. Each export request is placed in a queue, and sometimes the file is never delivered or ends up in the spam folder. Users who request exports usually need the file immediately, rather than waiting hours. In many cases, when the export doesn’t arrive in their inbox, they assume there’s a bug and reach out to support.
Solution:
Instead of delivering exports via email, switch to a local download option. If the download takes time, display a progress bar to keep users informed. The progress indicator should also let users know whether they can safely navigate away while the file continues downloading (based on how the local download process works).
Risks:

If the download requires time to process, users should be clearly informed that they can navigate to other pages within the app, but should not log out (if that would interrupt the download process).
