Change of device names without brand

Hi, is it possible to change the names of devices? For example Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max can be changed to iPhone 17 Pro Max - thereby the device name will be in 1 sentence instead of 2. See attached. The same accounts for iPads and also for Samsung smartphones and tablets. Also these can be without the brand name. E.g. Galaxy A56 instead of Samsung Galaxy A56 and so on.

    Hi Marvin,

    Thank you for the suggestion. I understand the idea, and I agree that in some cases it would make the product names look cleaner and simpler. For example, showing “iPhone 17 Pro Max” instead of “Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max” is easier to read.

    However, our current catalog structure is based on Brand + Product Name. This helps keep the naming consistent and avoids confusion across different categories and brands.

    While it may work well for some products, there are also cases where removing the brand would make the name unclear. For example, some products may only have names like “15” or “2”, such as Xiaomi 15 or Razer 2. If we removed the brand in those cases, the product name would become too vague and difficult to understand.

    Because we have many categories and a large number of products, handling this as a special rule for only certain items would require a lot of manual adjustment and could become difficult to maintain over time.

    So for now, we think it is better to keep the current structure using Brand + Product Name to make sure the catalog stays clear and consistent.

    That said, we really appreciate the feedback and understand the reason behind the request. We’ll keep this in mind if we improve product name display options in the future.
