Summary
The generated UPS return labels currently do not include the offerId. This creates operational issues when receiving packages, as our internal workflow relies on scanning the offerId barcode for automated check-in and routing.
Issue
The label contains standard UPS fields but does not output the associated offerId for the transaction.
Without the offerId displayed or encoded as a barcode, we cannot automatically match returned packages to offers in our system.
This results in manual lookups, delays in processing, and higher error rates.
Expected Behavior
Each label generated by Reusely should include the offerId.
The offerId should also be encoded as a barcode (preferably Code128, but QR is also acceptable).
Placement can be anywhere on the label as long as it does not interfere with UPS-required fields.
Proposed Output Example
Offer ID: TBP53106 [Barcode encoding the same value] on the UPS label
Why This Is Required
Our intake workflow is fully barcode-driven.
Warehouse staff scan a single barcode to pull up the offer, verify device details, and continue processing.
Without this barcode on the label, our automated process breaks (Offer ID can be brought up using https://app.thebuybackplatform.com/order/detail/TBP53106 where the barcode would capture “TBP53106” and dynamically insert it to bring up the reusely order.
